Privacy policy

The calculators run in your browser. What you type stays on your device.

Independent siteReviewed

What does this site collect?

Almost nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter, so the site never asks for your name, email or employer.

Where do the numbers you type go?

They stay on your device. The calculators run in your browser. Your pay, filing status and other inputs are kept in the page address so you can share or bookmark a result, and they are never sent to a server by this site.

If you share a link, the inputs in it are visible to whoever opens it.

Does the site use cookies?

Yes, for the services below. The site itself sets no cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Does the site track visits?

Yes, in aggregate, with Google Analytics. It counts which pages are opened, from which country and kind of device, and how visitors arrive. Page addresses are sent without the part that holds your calculator inputs, and visits are never tied to your name. It sets cookies for this. It never receives the pay figures you type.

What do the servers log?

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it processes the address of each request, including your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. The site does not use these logs to identify you.

Is the site meant for children?

No. The site is a reference for working adults and does not knowingly collect anything from children.

How will changes to this policy be shown?
